Pool Shop Service & Repair

I called to get an estimate on a pool pump replacement for a 1.5hp pump (which failed after 28 years!). Over the phone - gave an estimate of about $1600. Also, can I get a card on your file, we wont charge anything but its just for future. I got a quote for $2700 and when I refused to move forward, they charged me $75 and a very interaction. Very poor customer service. Beware with these guys - everything in writing and zero trust interaction, if you must interact with them. If there was to be a $75 charge, they shouldve told upfront. There are many honest businesses who provide estimates as part of their sales process. This is bait and switch. Rude unprofessional. Buyer beware of this business.
