I just cancelled with Poolwerx for the reasons listed below: 1. They have nothing in place to remind customers about recommended services, i.e. Filter cleanings. 2. They do not leave any proof they completed a service. They should consider at least leaving a business card to let the customer know they were there. 3. I've had at least 4 or 5 techs within 2 years of being with them. They have too much turnover and the new techs are lacking knowledge in pool chemical management and have no idea about the overall pool system and pumps. I want a tech who comes to me with recommendations because they notice an issue, i.e. calcium buildup around the tile, pumps not running or running at odd times, filter cleaning... 4. I have mentioned a number of times where I want my chlorine levels, which are based on manufacturer suggestions at levels of between 2 & 4. They told me they would note that in my account, but this tech said it wasn't there. My tech thought chlorine levels of 10 are good, which is the last reading I had. 5. They wanted to charge me $20 for a magic eraser to remove chlorine buildup on my tile! I can buy 1 for a dollar or 2 in the store. ***UPDATE*** From my new pool guy after testing the water 2 days after Poolwerx was there for the weekly cleaning...I need to drainain your pool clean your filters and probably power wash your pool interior. Water is jacked beyond recognition, you're right about your pool company using chlorine...acceptable range of chlorine for a swimming pool is between one and 3 ppm yours is at 20+, phosphates are at 3500 and stabilizers at 158.

I made a phone call to Poolwerx about a warranty situation with my pool pump. They said theyd get back to me - I wasnt so sure they would. But less than 24 hours after my original call, Katelyn called me back and answered all of my questions and concerns. She really went above and beyond for me! I would recommend Poolwerx and especially Katelyn 100%!

They really helped me with my pool chemicals and didn't try to oversell me. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
