image Its the New Year, however, my saga continues. I share my story so you may be aware to prepare yourself and prevent the same situation in your exchange with Wheelers. When I reported the potential hazardous conditions of van#19 I was given a false Detailing fee of 250.00. They showed me some pictures of animal hair but there was no proof showing it was during our rental. I tried to report that no animal was in the van during our rental - there was no reply. But they have your credit card info and can place the blame with no validation - thats the scam. When you pick up your van take lots of pictures - it will be for your own protection and the only safety you have from their false charges. Its good when its good but goes so bad when its bad.

image PROCEED WITH WARNING. There are many repeating issues found in reviews that have continued again. The van we were issued had the problems of sliding door not locking in place, driver side seat belt not retracting (always loose), driver side seat-back not able to adjust (could not site straight), floor mats not secure (worried that it would jam in accelerator - like Toyota lawsuit/recall). After reporting issues was falsely accused of dog hair causing $250.00 detail fee. Now not returning phone calls as verbally promised. Not replying to e-mail. And, required to rent van for four days when only need it for a few hours (it was a holiday - but not 4 days). Things are getting worse at Wheelers.

image We rented a van for our daughter in a wheelchair while in Vegas. I had a Freud alert place on my debit card that I paid for the van. I was told the 500 deposit could not be put on any other card. I was told they would have to right me a check. I told them that was fine. It is 3 weeks and I am still waiting for the check. The accounting person will not answer the phone or return any calls to me.

image We will never rent from Wheelers Van Rentals again!!
* Van was delivered over 2.5 hours late.
* Van had trash in it - Plastic utensils and used water bottle, and clothing stuffed under the front passenger seat.
* The van was not cleaned on inside or outside - unprofessional, but still functional vehicle
* There was a lot of exterior damage but did not interfere with function of van
* The Driver-Side seatbelt did NOT retract properly. I had to manually retract it multiple times during a single ride.
* Owner attempted to give us a new vehicle but the conditions of the other vehicle options were NO better.
* Vehicle system regularly notified to "Change Oil", windshield wiper fluid was empty and the Check Engine light came on the 3rd day of using van.
* We returned the vehicle on the 3rd day of our 8-day rental per agreement with the owner of Wheelers, who promised numerous times to refund the remaining days of our rental agreement.
* 2 weeks later, we have NOT received any refund and no phone call from the owner.
