    I have never before this week been in contact with Optimum in any way. Since April 2, 2024 I have set up service, received equipment and talked to approx 20 people through chat and phone. I have not had any internet services provided. I am constantly being told something is in error in their end. They have had me explain too many times my name isnt Jared. I am a new customer. I have not had service at this address for 6 years. I have never had service with them and just moved to this apartment. I do believe them that someone lived in my apartment before me and had internet. I offered them a copy of my lease and a video chat to prove I live in my apartment. They sent me equipment but will not activate it and keep saying my account is deactivated. Apparently it has never even been activated. I have been promised assistance, resolution, supervisors and return calls with absolutely none of those things happening. I have been on the phone off and in for 3 hours today April 6. I have even been told my billing starts tomorrow?!? But I remain without internet. Do Better!!!

    Why did i have to yell at your employee to cancel our service? "Your loyalty and satisfaction are our top concern." No my money is obviously, because he kept trying to get me to upgrade and buy your stupid cell service.

    Everything has been better overall since they took over for Suddenlink. However, I was told on two separate phone calls that my bill would be lowered. Fast forward a few months and it has increased twice. Optimum really needs to cut prices. You are not the only option available any more.
