Club Wyndham Flagstaff

I will start with positive: the location is great, 1.5 hours to Grand Canyon, less than an hour to Sedona, 30 minutes to Lake Mary, minutes from Walnut Canyon. The staff we encountered were nice, especially at the clubhouse. We enjoyed the sip and paint night. The rooms are a bit dated, the kitchen pots and pans really showing wear. The tub in the main bath showing its age. The spa bath also showing a lot of wear, and rust. I'm sure it's hard to remove those stains but it doesn't feel relaxing. You have to go to the club house to get ice, so when we checked in after a long day of travel it was frustrating to not have ice in the room and the club house was closed. As for our stay, the furnace was making an awful noise, waking us up several times during the night. It took 5 calls for service over 3 days to finally get it fixed. Again, the staff was friendly but that is just to frustrating when trying to enjoy your vacation. On our 4th night, our little one threw up. We cleaned up as best we could but there was some on the carpet. As soon as the front desk opened we let them know and asked that they send someone to clean the small area. Two days later and it still hasn't been done. Johnny in maintenance had helped us clean the kitchen floor and was very kind. The manager Jodean had assured us that someone would be up the next day to do the carpet. Once again, it took another call (3 calls for service) and nothing. When I spoke with the manager again she said she thought it was taken care of. I said, does maintenance have a carpet cleaner? She agreed, no. So it still hasn't been taken care and now she says tomorrow. There is vomit on the carpet now for 3 days! And they won't help us. It is the most frustrating stay I have ever had at a Wyndham it over 10 years. I have never been disregarded like this. And for a property manager to be so dismissive of our frustration just makes it worse. She apologized but refuses to take ownership, blaming her employees for not telling her. I spoke with her directly, she should own the issues and take responsibility.

I had a wonderful staying experience. The main focus of this trip was the Grand Canyon, but as soon as we arrived at this accommodation facility, the whole family let out a strange cry. The size of the room, the chic, country-style uniformity of the room, and the cleanliness were all wonderful. What moved me the most was the outdoor family bath. Japanese people love bathing so much that they make it the main part of their trip. As soon as we arrived, my wife and children both said, ``We want to stay here again.'' Everything was comfortable, including the kitchen, shower, fireplace, and bedroom. Thank you for your wonderful time.

The employees are great. Hpuse is great. They accommodate ypur basic needs when it comes to kitchen stuff or snow tools!!

The stay was overall great and the staff were very kind and welcoming. We did, however, have an unexpected guesta mouse! For the price we paid, we probably could have stayed at a nearby motel and not have had to pay for extra guests.
