We stayed here over spring break and we were there the first day this hotel was officially Greentree Inn. I had booked with Ramada a few months in advance, and was never told this hotel would change. When I checked in, I paid the full amount for our week stay. No one still mentioned the transition. The day the change happened it snowed heavily, we had a hard time finding our hotel in the snow and dark and was relying on the signs yet there wasn't one for Ramada. Our second lap around the block we figured out it was the Greentree Inn.
I spoke with the manager at breakfast the next morning who apologized and assured me that I had already paid for my stay and my rate would not change. I checked my bank account the week we returned home to see the charge had changed to a lesser amount. I figured Greentree Inn would be adding the remainder. A few days later it disappeared completely. 10 days after the fact Greentree Inn shows up on my statement and charges me 25% more than the cost I reserved it at and had agreed upon and paid for at check in.
I have tried calling, and keep getting told no manager is on duty. I ask when one will be there and am told a day/time and call and get told no manager is on duty. Talk about getting the run around and getting taken advantage of.
Overall, its a basic room, and worth the money for the original rate if you're just looking for a place to sleep while you play; however at the higher rate I could have found a slightly better hotel with more amenities.
Don't stay here, don't trust them with your information.
