Oak Street Garden Shop

Oak street is a wonderful local garden shop with very knowledgeable staff. They have a great variety of both indoor and outdoor plants, and are willing to help you find and order what ever special plant you are looking for. Prices are consistent with other local garden shops in the Birmingham area. The quality of plants are far better than what you would find in a box store. They also make custom live arrangements and make deliveries.

My Husband and I love this place. We always stop after our bank visit. It has become our little tradition. We love all of the staff there, always greeted with smiles and any time we need any help they are more that kind and quick to help! We have plants from this place that have been with us for few years now and we still love them!!

Today, a hard to find charming locally owned small business ! Thats been around a long time! Go discover it if you dont already know about it!! Owner diligently working and the staff smiling, knowledgeable, helpful! Will load your car , put paper down and if you are looking for a particular plant etc will take your name and number and actually call you!!! Where you can find plants , try to answer your questions from plants to soil , fertilizer, container arrangements Much much more!! help that is a gardeners dream!! It will be your happy place too! The staff at Oak Street are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions. There prices are comparable to the big box stores and you get personalized assistance. Chris is a vat of knowledge and she is generous with her knowledge and expertise. I watch all of her you tube videos.I highly recommend Billy Angels Oak Street Garden shop!!!

Oak Street is a gem of a business. Thirty-two years in business and they carry a selection of plants and potting materials that cannot be found in most Garden Centers. They carry Fafard potting soil which is extremely hard to find and it is half the price of Fafard online and you dont have to pay shipping. Thank you Oak Street for carrying superior products .
