Fresenius Kidney Care Forestdale

I am the caregiver for my sister who receives dialysis at the Fresenius Center in the Forestdale area in Birmingham, Alabama. I am writing not to complain but to commend RN DONNA REED. She has the best customer care service not only for my sister but all patients at the center. She shows that she cares and truly love each of them. When she is there, dialysis starts on time. She treats everyone as family and greets us with a beautiful geniuses smile. Please commend her for being the epitome of a first class nurse.

These are the nicest, most compassionate people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Dialysis isn't a fun experience for anyone but the nurses, doctors and even the office staff do everything in their power to put you at ease, answer your questions and assure you they care. My husband took dialysis here 3 times a week for almost a year before he passed away from heart failure and although he hated the treatments he had nothing but good things to say about how he was treated and when he passed away the staff were visibly upset. They sent flowers to his memorial and even sent me flowers on his one year anniversary. His doctor called me personally to extend his condolences. I have nothing but the upmost respect for these people and feel they are truly heaven sent.

This place is a dialysis factory where the patients are cogs on am assembly line. Human beings are just entries on a schedule.
