Guidepost Montessori at Birmingham

We moved our daughter to Guidepost after having her in another educational daycare, and I can confidently say that I feel a true difference in quality of care dropping my daughter off at Guidepost every morning. Every teacher in the school knows her name - not just her room teachers - and I think that speaks volumes to the care and attention to kids at Guidepost. Its also been so fun to watch my 1 year old learn new things and really be immersed in the Montessori method!

I moved my two children from a church daycare months ago and it was the BEST decision I've made. My 3 year old used to cry every day I dropped him off at the daycare and he has never cried here. They both are so happy, learning SOOO much, and love going to school. And I love all the staff. The guides are all so thoughtful and kind. I'm so happy my children are here!!

My son has been attending this daycare for four months now, starting when he was 14 months old, and I'm delighted with my choice. The entire staff is genuinely caring and compassionate and my son loves all of them... As a first-time parent entrusting my child to someone else, I was initially anxious, but now I feel relieved leaving him in their capable hands. I've noticed he's learning a lot and has become more independent. I'm so grateful for the nurturing environment they provide.

Our two youngest children have attended Guidepost since they first opened in 2021. It has been a wonderful place for our children and so much better than the typical daycare. Weve used regular daycares that are more like barely supervised playtime, Mothers Day out programs, day schools, everything. However, Guidepost Birmingham has been the most impactful and satisfying for our children. Our kids have learned so much academically and with practical life skills. They learn how to prepare and serve food, work buttons and zippers, wash hands and dishes, clean floors and tables. They love being able to do what adults do, but with tools their size. Because of this our children have become more independent and confident.

This is a wonderful little place, everyone here is just so nice and caring. My little girl is about a year and a half old and has been going there for a few months now. She haslearned a few nice things that we had not been working on with her, such as hand washing . She loves being there with theother little ones as well. They are expensive but they are able and willing to work with you on that. Looking forward to several more years!
