I have been a client at Park Avenue Plastic Surgery for years. Having had smaller things done like Botox, to larger procures, I can say that every experience has been exemplary. After seeing the amazing results and how great the staff is, my husband eventually became a client as well! Currently, I am seeing Diana for laser hair removal. I went to this place about a few years ago I was happy at first with Dr Joseph and the staff but after my tummy surgery and breast lift I was not one of my breast got so Infected that I thought I was losing my breast. It took me months for it to heal back-and-forth back-and-forth, having them cut it,The bad tissue because it was black and Green pus in it ,It was so gross that I couldnt even take care of it. My husband had to do the bandaging cleaning it and then my breast is still the same spot that they were when I supposed to have the breast lift my stomach. I had tummy tuck, but I dont see really that much difference because on each side of my hips with a cut across my belly to my hips, and there are puckered I got folds underneath my armpits and I dont feel good about myself. I even asked the doctor how many liters of fat he removed he couldnt really tell me how much the surgery was supposed to only take about 4 to 5 hours. I was in there about 6 to 8 hours my husband was calling in the clinic where I was having my surgery multiple times they even got rude to him because he was worried about me like any Husband would I think I would get a second opinion if I was anybody, but this is my preference I dont like my husband to see my body. I dont even like to see my body. I look like I am a Frankenstein, but this is my opinion.

We have reviewed our patient data base for the name listed on this review and there is no such patient with this name in the practice that fits the description of having had these two procedures in combination. It is also not an outcome or result which represents this practice. This makes the review suspicious for someone trying to damage Dr. Joseph’s reputation and practice. We will be notifying Google and investigating further into the review. We would like to use this review to address some of the points brought up to educate patients considering having surgery. Patients always have a very informative consult with Dr. Joseph to educate them on various procedures they may be interested in. Typically, before and after pictures with scars and their location are shown. This is especially true for breast lifts and tummy tucks. It is also important for patients to understand the risks associated with surgery and how to properly follow instructions throughout the healing process. Not doing so can lead to problems healing.Potential complications associated with any surgery are discussed. These include but are not limited to infections, bleeding or wound healing problems. Some things which may increase the risk of complications can include diabetes, a high BMI and smoking. These can lead to poor healing and scar formation. Properly following instructions is also extremely important to optimize results. Some individuals are more prone to poor scarring such as keloid formation. When combining these two procedures, they are never scheduled for 4 or 5 hours, but closer to 7 or even 8 hours. For this reason, all of these patients stay overnight at our facility with a private nurse. This is made very clear at the consult, the pre op visit and the day of surgery.Dr. Joseph currently operates at his own facility. “A few years ago,” would have been at a different facility where Dr. Joseph didn’t have management of its staff. However, this was not typical of how family and patients were treated. At his current facility, family members are given updates by the operating room nurse periodically throughout the case. We understand surgery can be a stressful event for a loved one undergoing a procedure and try to put them at ease during the procedure.
