The Bygone

My husband & I took a trip to see bluebonnets... we had stayed here before new management took over because it is less hectic than right in Wimberley. We love the new upgrades! Chris & his wife, sorry we didn't get her name, have done a great job. It is very close to Wimberley & easy day trips to Fredericksburg, Luchenbach & Canyon Lake. So relaxing. Enjoyed it very much.

Really cool spot with a great view! I loved the room and its design. Its very cosy and the amenities it comes with are great! We had bad weather so we didnt get to use the pool but we will come back in the future again. I think the only advice I can give is that room number 1 gets blasted at night with a flood light for the main lobby entrance so Id bring some eye masks. Otherwise a great stay!

Paper thin walls. We can hear everything in the other rooms. Not a good view. Probably the only place in the area without a good view. Tiny rooms. Id be pretty bummed if I spent $50 to stay here. Being here just makes me sad. This is a motel. I dont even want to spend the night here. We may drive home instead.

Unfortunately, we wanted to love our stay but no one was working here since check in and the two rooms next to us have over 14 people and have been setting off fireworks all night right outside the room in the parking lot. We messaged the owners and go a response, thanks for letting us know. Nothing else. So all night got no sleep. The wifi didnt work either. Definitely had a great view was all I could say.
