My very resistant dad has adjusted to Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge amazingly. The Executive Director and the Director were extremely helpful with our very difficult decision to move him there. Pricing is very reasonable comparatively, and their spend down is 1 year as opposed to almost 100% of the other facilities in the area at 3 years. They have kept us informed about how dad is doing and are always positive. Dad seems happy, participates in activities and says he likes the food. The staff say he is a joy to have around!

Hands down the best care I could possibly imagine for my mother-in-law. Everyone is truly exceptionally trained in dealing with Alzheimer's/Dementia and their families. I'm so thankful for Brookdale Stonebridge Vancouver.

Where caregivers get away with using patient meds from the cart, your familys are ignored, and The kitchen gets away with serving old food and salads 6 times a week. If your family member is the least bit refusive. Theyll be left in their room with no food and the management lets it happen. the side with the most management on it is actually the side with the most blatant neglect. You can show up a random weekend morning to check on your loved ones to check validity in this statement. Check their grooming, and daily hygiene, none of it gets done. They are severely understaffed, to a point where the daily life quality of residents who need help should be considered borderline abuse , yet during meetings the manager says i understand you care, but were a buisness, and we need to fill rooms with bodies that pay bills. They have multiple staff members whove abused residents, and have been caught by resident family members, yet they are kept on the payroll, or given a new job title by the manager himself. Unless you are a POC, then the manager has no issues firing you, or treating you like less. Theres a reason APS is constantly there. Its because The manager is clueless and careless. Theyve kept residents they didnt have the means to care for just to fill rooms and get their quota. Its actually disgusting how your family is treated here, And if you dont see that. Its the residents I feel bad for.
