Highgates staff are so wonderful! Autumn and her crew are welcoming, open, and so willing to work with the resident and family for whatever your needs are. We are so grateful to them for everything they have done for our parents. If I could rate them and the facility higher than a five star, I would!

I want to thank all the Highgate staff for taking such great care of my father-in-law. The move into memory care wasn't easy for my father-in-law, but within a short period of time, he adjusted to his new living arrangement. The thing I love the most about Highgate is hands down, the incredible staff. They took such great care of him the 2+ years he was there. That peace of mind was invaluable.

This facility gives outstanding care at a reasonable cost. Caregivers are experienced and very compassionate. I love working with this facility and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to age in place.

The people truly make Highgate special. My mother moved 4 months ago into the Cottage (memory care area). The transition was difficult for her, but the care team took extra effort to help her adjust and worked with me to find strategies to help Mom settle in. The care team learned what she enjoyed and made sure she received extra hot chocolate and the front seat during bus outings. The care team is affectionate and attentive, and Mom appreciated their kindness. Sadly, Mom entered hospice care for 2 weeks and passed 5 days ago. She was able to receive hospice services at Highgate without needing to move from her room. The care team coordinated with hospice to make sure Mom's needs were met. They were also attentive to us as we stayed by Mom's bedside. I can't fully convey my gratitude for the warmth and compassion we met at Highgate. In the end, the caring culture is what matters.

After several recommendations from friends and others familiar with whats available locally, I looked into Highgate as a possible placement for my sweetheart over 16 months ago. I met with the Marketing Manager, Mike, and he answered all my questions, gave me a great tour and clearly explained all the benefits they provide. The whole process of getting approved and moved in was seamless! I have been very pleased with the level of care received there. I am able to communicate regularly with Mike and the Executive Directer, Autumn, and have always been able to get direct answers to any questions I may have. All the care-givers are very involved in the round-the-clock care needed for folks in various stages of memory loss, from earlier stages to advanced stages up until passing. Compassionate is the word I would choose to best described the care here. Keep in mind that with 20+ residents it is impossible for each one to have one-on-one attention 24/7 but they are all closely monitored and given the individual attention they need. The rooms are nice and are equipped with fall-protection monitoring. Lots of activities to include residents of all levels depending on their individual capabilities. I have been pleased with the quality of the meals and snacks, and enjoy the monthly family nights! I have full confidence in the staff and management at Highgate. I love them and the residents so much, I even now serve as a volunteer for both the assisted living and the memory care folks. So glad I chose Highgate! I know my sweetheart is safe, loved and well cared for and Im thankful for all the Highgate folks!
