I've been living at the Artesa Apartments for a total of 4 months and could not be more happy with the experience I've had here. The one maintenance request I've had so far was completed quickly. The included heated parking garage is a great feature. Two things I really like about my suite are the long kitchen island and tall ceilings. The location of Artesa is great. The Mequon Public Market and Fox Town Brewery are a short walking distance away. The Ozaukee trail and Downtown Thiensville are also close by and in walking distance. Overall I'm happy to be living in such a great apartment in a fun location.

There are alot of apartments around here, but this place for me feels like home.

I've lived here for 2.5 years now. I absolutely love The Artesa. I looked at EVERY building from Glendale to Port Washington before making a decision. I even considered a few condos. Here's what I discovered along the way. The Artesa is a quiet building located close to the Mequon Police/Fire department, a major medical office, the Mequon Public Market, Piggly Wiggly Grocery store, The Foxtown Brewery, the Weyenberg Public Library, and the Mequon Trail. My service dog, Sir Buddy, and I moved here from Milwaukee seeking safety and a home where we could walk in peace. I found that and a community where people are friendly, interesting, and eclectic (in a good way). Even with COVID-19 in full blast, there's a good amount of life around. Just being able to get out and walk every without feeling threatened is a bonus. I like seeing the leaves turning on the Riverwalk. I love the coffee shops (FiddleHeads and Colectivo). I enjoy being able to walk to the grocery stores (Piggly Wiggly and The OutPost). When I want to go for a short drive, I can drive to Port Washington Road (only about 10 mins down the road) to find Marshalls, Bed Bath and Beyond, Sendiks, Ace Hardware, The Feedbag Pet Supply, Pet Supplies Plus, DSW Shoes, Panera's. The Great Frame Up, and all kinds of restaurants. Living at the Artesa has been marevelous. They've kept the building clean by bringing in professionals to keep us all healthy during the pandemic. We have a workout room, a community room, EVERY unit has storage included in the rent (other buildings in Mequon charge for that), we have underground parking, and they don't dupe you by calling normal things like trash removal an amenity! I love this small community. It was important to me to find a place where I wasn't living with 100 other people during a pandemic! Here at the Artesa, we live in a clean, quiet, well-kept community with our beloved pets. We have maintenance and management on the property during the day and access to services 24 hours/day for emergencies. I lived in a condo for almost 20 years. I am satisfied that I am getting good value for what I pay. For example, on my birthday, I was able to hold a catered birthday party in the community room for guests. On lazy days, I can walk my small service dog on the puppy trail behind the building -- which is maintained with bags and a waste station. On sunny days, I can enjoy sitting on my deck or have a barbecue on the community patio -- using the grills provided by the building. If it rains, I can bring my cooked dinner into the community room and sit by the fireplace and watch a game on the big screen TV! Yes, The Artesa is lovely! Come on by, while we still have some openings! Don't pay for things you won't use! Don't be duped by fancy coffee makers and swimming pools during COVID-19! If you really love to swim, the public pool is a 10 minute walk away! WE have a lovely coffee maker in the community room and provide coffee, if that's what floats your boat --LOL! Come check out what really matters --- clean, comfortable, living spaces with parking, storage, safety, and owners and management that cares!
