I am disappointed. My son is going to the university, which has a US Bank branch; hence, we decided to open an account with them. We were told that the US Bank Credit Card would be linked to the US Bank App automatically, but that was not the case, so we went to the branch to get help. All we were told was to fill out the form and send a release letter to them. They could at least give us time to fill out the form, and they could have sent a form for us. Instead, we were forced to leave the building. I was considering opening the account for me as well, but that would not happen based on this experience.
I wish I can give 0 star. Just found out that credit card that I've applied for my son is pretty much useless for him to gain credit. I was told that he will gain a credit, but apparently not.
Update:(March 19, 2024)
Received a phone call from "social media" department. and this person could not resolve the issue and she said that she will have to file an "executive" complain, and it can take up to 15 days for me to receive a phone call. We will see how this goes.

Helped me with many different questions and on ones they couldn't answer they continued to look until they figured out a solution for me to try. Usually serve coffee as well and you don't have to wait, only a few minutes if you do.

This location has the best customer service out of all the branches. I refuse to go anywhere else. Very attentive and courteous. I have never had an issue that they didn't fix right away.
I also REALLY need to give props to the teller with dark brown hair and a pink shirt on 11/16/2022. I came in unaware that we would need an appointment to open a checking. When I found out I would not be able to see banker; it really threw me for a loop and instantly needed to refigure an entire week of scheduling for myself which instantly gave me a bad attitude (I work in customer service and I am ashamed of myself; she did nothing wrong.)
Instead of just letting me walk out with my bad attitude; she let me know that I can open my checking online and made sure that I had all the information she could possibly get me to remedy my situation. I really appreciate her making sure that I was aware of my options when I just couldn't think of them for myself.

Tried to go to the lobby today to withdraw some cash during regular business hrs. and there was a note on the door that said the lobby was closed but you could do your business through the drive through. When I asked the teller the reason why, he said there were only 2 workers so they couldn't open the lobby. This is very concerning. Sadly after almost 30 yrs of banking personal and commercial w/ US Bank, I think its time to move. The customer service is no where near what it used be, we had a horrible experience trying to get a commercial loan, went to another bank and had our money within 2 days, the online banking is hit and miss, sometimes certain pages won't come up and absolutely hate how they restructured the online Pay Bills section. They nickle and dime ya to death with fees on everything and really give no incentives to stay like other banks/credit unions do. We will be moving both our personal and commercial accounts!
