My wife and I bought a vehicle there a few years ago. We were told that it would have a hitch and bug shield on the vehicle when we got there. When we arrived, it had the hitch, but not the bug shield. The salesman said the bug shield didn't come in as planned. I asked why he didn't call us to save us a 200 mile round trip, and he said he didn't think we'd mind driving back to Charleston when the bug shield did come in and have it installed after we bought it. Never had the character or courage to apologize. When I mentioned it to the Sales Manager, he literally sat there in silence and just looked at me. The ONLY reason we bought that car is because my wife had her heart set on that particular vehicle. Buckhannon Auto Mall has more professional salespeople and better service.

The service from Bert Wolfe Toyota has drastically declined over the years. My experience today further attests to that. First of all, I made my appointment online, the website indicates you receive a $5.00 discount for doing so. I gave the "greeter" a coupon I received in the mail for the oil change from Bert Wolfe. He asked me if I wanted the tires rotated and I responded if that comes with the coupon then yes. When I went to check out an hour and forty five minutes later my original bill was $47.00, I questioned the tire rotation and they removed that charge. They would not give me the $5.00 discount for scheduling online and there is no where i can see on the website where it indicates you can't have that discount if you use a coupon. My name is clearly Hatton and was evident on the service record, even after correcting the "greeter" he called me Patton at least four times. I bought my Camry there back in 2008 and it has been a good car. They have a greeter walk with you to pay for your service, its a bit much considering the service you don't receive. In short, that is the only good thing I can say about this dealership and its service department.
