Our office team blew me away with this event Blind date with a Book (books my love language)! They packaged these books so lovely and with care. It was so hard to just pick one. I felt really special that they went way out to do this for us! XOXO!

If I could give a negative 100 rating I would. Our 84 year old Mother was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 4 Liver Cancer in early August. She lived on the 2nd floor where she had to climb 15 cement steps to her apartment. Her health declined at a rapid rate where it became nearly impossible for her to go up and down her staircase. She had signed a lease for a year which would have been up this December. We knew she needed to be moved to an assisted living facility as soon as possible. She was a patient with Kaiser where not one but two Physicians wrote a letter on her behalf letting them know her level of care had changed and could no longer live in her apartment safely. They denied to honor either letter written by her Physicians. We didn't have a choice but to move her Into a facility called Russellville Park in Portland. We had to pay to get her out of her lease which cost $4000.00. As most of you know the price of Assisted Living for a love one is extremely expensive. It would have been nice and honorable for them to wave the cost so we could apply it towards her much needed care. Today she is in Hospice and on her last journey through this challenging period of her life. They did offer us the opportunity to make payments, which we'll continue after she passes. Shame on "The Park" for not doing better. I wouldn't recommend this place of residence to anyone.
