After buying a new home, we expected no problems. I am so glad we had Country Financial. The builders subcontracted out the appliance and it was then subcontracted out again. The appliance was installed faulty and we had extensive water damage. Bob had everything taken care of for us. After we filed the claim, everything got fixed in a timely matter, and they paid for our hotel. We spent a month dealing with the warranty and subcontractors before getting insurance involved. Only after the insurance got involved did progress get made, and they got Ferguson to pay our deductible. Also, we save a bunch by bundling our car insurance with our home insurance.

Complete lack of service.  After regularly making premium payments without a claim for over 10 years my 6 month old car was stolen.  I didn't hear a word from my agent.  When I called him to ask for help through the process, he had absolutely nothing to offer and, in fact, intimated that I was lying about the loss.  The insurance company first advised me that I would receive payment for my vehicle if it was not found in 14 days so I bought a replacement vehicle on the 15th day.  I was unable to get a call back from the company for two weeks while awaiting my settlement check.  Finally I received word from the company that they were investigating the claim (they suspected fraud).  Mr. Cosgrove and his office were of less than no help and when I called them it was clear to me that they thought I was lying about the loss.  I had to wait 6 weeks for the settlement check during which time I had to undergo an interrogation with the company investigator who admitted he didn't suspect me of anything improper upon completion of the interview.  I still didn't get a settlement check for two weeks after this interrogation.  The week after I received the check the police found my vehicle stripped and abandoned.  I found out through the police as the insurance company had already taken possession of the car and didn't so much as send me a letter of notification.  At every step through a very stressful process of having my car stolen Bob Cosgrove, his office, and Country Companies were useless at best and obstructive at baseline.  I strongly recommend anyone looking for insurance to find an agency that provides service other than merely cashing your check every month.
