My name is Mike and I have used Jeff and his crew many times over the last decade. In the beginning, he and his crew were above average in every job he completed at our home in SE Vancouver. In the last 3 or 4 years, his company's performance has tailed off ( ie. trex from a new deck started to separate within a couple years of installation - warped doors on a shed installation within a year of installation). However, the last encounter with Jeff was the worst. A vanity that one of his workers installed about 5 years ago fell off the wall and came crashing down on the sinks our main bathroom in May of this year (2017) . I called Jeff and he came out within a few days on a Friday and surveyed the damage and said he would be out the next week. The following week, I didn't hear from him. Late in the week, I was finally able to reach him on email and he replied, saying he may make it out Friday, but couldn't be sure. Since then, I have attempted many phone calls and emails. Out of all those (more than 10), I reached his wife Nancy once and she said she would convey my information to Jeff. Since that time (over a week ago), I have had no contact from either Jeff or Nancy. I had told Jeff that I would be glad to pay him since it had been 5 years, although the install was clearly defective. Also, I have paid Jeff on time for every job his company has done over the years. I consider his actions, or lack thereof, very unprofessional and my wife and I still have parts of a vanity all over the house with a bathroom that looks like a war zone. I even left a message for Jeff asking for a referral of any other handyman-type company and again, I received no reply. Also, the medicine cabinet was secured only to the sheetrock. No studs were used for the original installation.
