    You know what really grinds My gears? Someone who claims to be the manager telling me I can't access my money on the first when I need to pay rent. I went in there about a month ago and yes I did lose my ID but that doesn't negate the fact that it's my account it's my money and I need to get my rent paid. I needed a cashier's check to pay my rent and this lady gives me every excuse in the book to why I can't access my money. What's the point of saving my ID on file if you want to pretend it's not me when the time comes? What's the point of putting code words on my account If they mean nothing when I need access to my account? Not to sound racist but you would think the Asian lady would be smarter than that. I guess not. Never have any problem accessing my money at any other branch in this situation but this lady made it damn near impossible to get my money and I really got tired of arguing with her because I knew she wasn't right. I went to a different branch location and they offered me the solution of printing me some courtesy checks so I can just write a regular check. Why couldn't she offer me this solution? because she had no intention of representing the greatest bank in the world that's why. And before I get a default generic response from the owner just know I will not go to your link to tell you what I think If you want to know what I think you can call my number that's on file on my account and ask me directly . But honestly this is the straw that broke the camel's back for me and I think I will close my Umpqua account by the end of the year. There's no point in giving my money to people that don't let me access my money especially when it's needed on the first to pay rent for my family. And from the number of one star reviews on here I could tell I'm not the only one upset with this branch location. Although I don't get this experience at other branch locations this one kind of rubbed me the wrong way because it was not like this on Mill plain and 112 when I open my account. They did everything possible to help me open an account when I got out of prison. Now they just treat me like I'm still there.

    The worst customer service experience I ever had for years!!!! Just had to cash out several checks from my business account, but got refused by one of their agent named Andrea Clay (NMLS 2154481). She said because I have only $55 on my account I cannot cash out my checks with the amount that are more than on my account. So, she has to deposit them and I can only cash them the next day. I told her I cannot wait till tomorrow I need cash today urgently, but, instead, of helping their loyal customer she did not care.That was the first time, since, I cash my checks every week with no problem. I told her to show me in their documents were does it say that I cannot cash checks if I have only $55. She refused to show me. Than, I called a manager, but she said that the manager is busy. I told her to ask another agent about this several times, but she refused. So, I left to a different Upmqua Bank location, and they cashed out my checks with no problem. So, I was really amazed why the other of their locations cashed out my check, but that one on Mill Plaint agent could not! It could be two reasons ether the agent does not know her job or she did that intentionally. So, I returned back to that location and showed Andrea the receipt that another location was able to cash my checks with no problem. I asked her WHY? She said she does not know! That is NOT AN ANSWER to me! It is so UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!!! I had to get off my job and spend more than an hour just to cash checks which should have taken about 15 minutes.
