I just received a threatening email from a collection agency representing Modern Door & Millwork, even though I have never even heard of them before, let alone bought anything from them.
It turns out that the collection agency was apparently sending this email out to ANYONE WITH MY NAME, (of which there are many)! Although it was the collection agency doing this, it was Modern Door & Millwork that hired them.
Besides having hired this firm, Modern Door & Millwork must have provided some kind of contact information to them, so I hold them equally responsible for this kind of carelessness and inappropriate intimidation. This is a crappy way to do business, and I would now never even consider buying anything from them even if I did live in their area.
This really burns me up that anyone can start their day by being threatened this way, only to receive a reply of "sorry, wrong person" from the aggressor!!! Since when is anyone allowed to do business like that???
