UPDATE: Derek immediately made contact with me after my initial review and the remainder of my communication was with him and he was VERY responsive, clear in his communication and was able to take a look at my trees within a couple days AND treated them for insects while there. The cost for the treatment was by far competitive and I was more than happy to use Derek, The Arborist. Thank you Derek for everything!! *************************************************************************** Unfortunately, I was never able to use this service due to the scheduling person being so terrible at communication. I had seen such great reviews and was excited to work with the arborist, but despite my efforts of starting the scheduling process in October 2020, Crystal was unable to provide ample communication and schedule things appropriately, then actually had the audacity to blame me for not receiving an email to reschedule. Completely disappointed that I didn’t have the opportunity to work with the person behind the company. Oh well, I’ve gone with a different company as a result of the issues with the scheduler. Derek came and pruned my two cherry trees this year and last and did a wonderful job both years. He left the area clear of debris and was responsive to questions and was able to get me in quickly! He diagnosed and treated my distressed tree showing gummosis. Hopefully I get cherries this year!

Derek was very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose most of the issues my trees were having on site and that which he was unable, he researched and got back to me in a timely manner with answers. I have now used The Arborist on three different occasions. I have several properties and a list of professional contractors I trust and call on for help. I will be adding The Arborist to that list.

I am extremely happy with the work that was done. Derek is very pleasant and punctual. The only thing I would say is getting the appointment could be easier. It takes some phone tagging 🙂
