image As a property developer, we have used Trent a couple of times and his prices are very good.  He has been almost a 1/3 less than other bids.  Communication is great and his installers arrive when he said they would.  He is now my first choice when I need window dressings.

image Local Seattle specialty shades store that kicks Lowe's and Home Depot right in the groin. Like a kid in a candy shop, I was encouraged to run around and touch everything (just kidding, they brought the color swatch books to us so we could chat about the choices... I still touched them). When we arrived, everyone was all prepared with sample books and swatches for us, and they taped up several of the samples so we could see what the shades would look like against real windows. We got to take our favorites home and emailed our final color choices in.Measurement day came and went. Installation day came and went. Everything looked and worked great aka as described (we went for the automated window shade option that is pretty awesome if you're a human and like opening all your windows at the same time with one touch, American Psycho style. Our pets hate it). One hiccup: the measurements taken in one of the bedrooms was incorrect apparently, leaving about 2-3 inches of sunlight to get in every morning around 6 AM. The shades are also asymmetrically hanging in the windows which isn't really what we in the industry call awesome. The installers didn't even notice this upon install for some reason, which is disappointing and speaks to the "just throw the problem over the wall to the next guy" sort of nature to all this. It's a shame -- they seemed so put together at the beginning of it all.We called the company to get shade replacements. That was like 3 months ago. So far, we haven 't heard back.Overall, I found the follow up from these folks on estimates, colors, and suggestions, to be very good... and they are highly communicative via phone and email with the customer, but just not with each other.
