Once you see the shelves empty you realize it's just another department store. The prices still way to high. It's still cheaper to go to Penny's and you can get the exact same clothing. Their prices on home goods are still astronomical! Employees are still engaging and attentive.

Some sales aren't that great but stuff is selling fast. Got some spray paint for 1$ & some large cork boards 5$, kipling wallet 40% off.

Been to many Macys and this has the worst customer service, so no wonder they are closing and had the massive closing sales (which btw has been going on for months) But even the low price (which is not that low actually) is hard to lure me to buy anything and endure the awful sales staff I have encountered. Do yourself a favor and check out the Nordstrom Rack just down the hall.
