I love living here! There are many reviews saying that the complex is noisy or unsafe, but I have not seen or heard anything. I never hear my neighbors, but when I see them they are very nice. The front office staff are super kind and readily available to help. My only complaint--which has nothing to do with Citigate--is that the street the complex is located on is sometimes difficult to drive down due to street parking and traffic. I hope to live here for as long as Citigate will have me!

I have been living here since 2017. My space is just fine for my needs. It's small 600+ sq ft and compact for the most part. It's Lacking enough inside storage for my needs: like a pantry area for storing enough food. But, there is storage off the deck and its well utilized. I wished I had a larger soaking bathtub.. but, the water pressure for showers is great. I especially appreciate the washer/dryer/NOT shared laundry area. Everyone has a wood burning fireplace too. They have a small outside pool; Not for doing laps but great for kids and family picnics. I'm in a 1 bedroom with a nice deck that faces east/ lots of morning sunshine.. 5 large windows plenty of light. I'm also in a smaller section of the complex with only 4 units; mine is on the top floor. So, its quieter- very comfortable for 1 person and 1 small pet. I couldn't live here with another adult.. not enough storage for 2 or with kids. Look into a 2 bedroom for that. Most apartments you can hear neighbors both upstairs and next door.. sound level varying. Especially in older buildings. Overall its been quiet here. The NEW total cement buildings downtown you can't hear others; possibly have more amenities but, the price for living there is 3x what you will find here. I like the management here; they have been consistently nice to me for years. The maintenance is available upon work order request and they are efficient. NO A/C but portables work great. Oh and parking; you have a choice of indoor garage or parking lot. I have done both and prefer to be close to my building for now. The price for parking is very reasonable; when you check other places close by. The building next door; The Row, is over $200.00 for outside lot. Ours is under $100.00 for the parking lot. I appreciate the safe secured building and thick front doors for fire safety. The alarms are always updated so, you can feel safe about any fire concerns. The management is very nice; the rent is very reasonable for everything included. I've lived in several different places to say this honestly. If you are reliable with your rent; don't cause issues for others.. they will be more than fair. Someone posted a couple of reviews here that are so ridiculous; I remember that person and she was trouble before she could unpack. Overentitled and rude. So, if you are curious come for a visit and check it out; ask questions ; they are more than happy to answer. Thank-you for reading this. Happy resident.

Overall I recommend! Ive lived at Citigate for several years now and my experience improves every year. It was a rough start, but the complex has continued to make upgrades for their residents and its noticeable. Pros - Cheaper rent than most in the area (especially those closeby that dont have in-unit laundry like Citigate) - Lots of shopping, movies, restaurants nearby - Some remodeled apartments (mine is and its great, but i know some arent) - Lightrail accessibility - Relatively safe and quiet area (there have been a couple car break-ins on the main street or in the garage) - In-unit laundry - Onsite maintenance (Hes super responsive!) - Access to express lane - Cats allowed (dogs were not when I moved in, but I see them all over the property now so assuming that changed) Cons - Biggest con IMO: Street parking is usually full and there's no guest parking - Inconsistent front office staff/dont always respond or communicate well. I rarely need anything from the office though - Thin floors and walls - Baseboard heaters in some rooms - it doesnt let off enough heat so ive never used it
