After 4 months of living there we had to move out because our apartment was literally falling apart (the ceiling leaked in three places). We tried to contact management several times a week about it and they didn't do anything until they finally came and saw how bad it was two months later. I definitely do not recommend considering this place.

I am not a person that typically writes reviews, but I think that this building and the staff here honestly deserve it. I have lived here for 4 years, and the studios are spacious and have a different layout then the normal apartment you would find in the city. There is a nice courtyard that is well maintained, due to new management in the last year. I recently just had the maintenance guy, Fransisco, fix things up in my apartment. He is the first maintenance guy in 3 years that has done work for me in the apartment like he said he would. I am grateful. I always see fransisco early in the morning when I head out for my run and it always takes me by surprise to see him bright and early before 7am - if that's not dedication, I don't know what is. I also want to mention the property manager, Paige, is the most hands-on and friendly landlord I have had at this building, and believe me, we've had a lot. Not only has she stuck around longer than anyone in the past, she really does everything she can to make this a nice place to live for the people that live here. In the past, the managers here will treat you like dirt, acting like they don't have time and are annoyed when you ask for something, but with Paige, she is always happy to see you and always greets me by name, even though we've only met a few times. I brought my concerns to her about the promissory apartment fixes I had been waiting on and she acted so quick. I am happy to call Ellis Court home, and I will continue to be tenant as long as Fransisco and Paige are here.

I have lived here for 6 years and the building has gotten in worse and worse shape over that time. Between having cheap maintenance techs that don't know what they're doing and building managers who could care less about the people that live here. Paige is the first Building Manager that I have been able to sit down and talk to about the problems that are going on here. She has listened to my complaints and actually taken action on them, whether she sitting in the office or on vacation. I have seen her actively working with frustrated occupants and staying professional the entire time. I really hope the owners of this building give her a raise to make sure she stays here, because I probably wont stay unless shes here. I believe she can completely turn this building around if they let her. The 5 stars I'm giving on this review are for Paige and everything she does. Thank you Paige you are appreciated!

Full disclosure, I don’t live at Ellis court but I have lived across from Ellis court for 3 years. My window outside stares right at their front door and entire building I have a perfect view and man is this place sketchy! There are cops and paramedics called here all the time at all hours of the night. I would say on average the cops come to check out a situation there 2-3 times a month for literally 3 years. I’m not sure what is going on in there that it is such a frequent occurrence but for someone looking to move in you should probably know that. Also on the ground floor they have these small sliding windows to the outside and there is a barred fence in between the sidewalk and the window but that doesn’t stop one of the residents from doing drug deals with people through his tiny window during broad daylight. Looking at pics online the apartments look pretty nice and are a good price but as a renter myself these are things I would want to know before committing to a building
