Olympia Appraisers

I needed to challenge my property taxes with an expert appraiser. These guys did fantastic, and we all know how doing such a thing can backfire. Reduced my property taxes $304 per month.

This guy won't respond, won't call back, won't answer clients' real estate or lender teams, and is uncooperative. You are impossible to contact for over two weeks?? Do you think this is professional? It's not like I have a choice who appraises my home when I'm a VA buyer. Couldn't even get this person to come back out and reinspect the call-outs that were fixed by the seller...couldn't get him to turn the documents in... The date my rate lock was going to expire, during a time when interest rates are this high...is when I barely closed in time. Because of THIS appraiser. Enjoy your $850 of my misery and daily panic. YOU EARNED IT GUY.

Should be 0 stars. Lowballed and cost me a better interest rate. Now I have to pay for another appraisal and $250 more a month in interest payments. I would recommend looking at another appraiser. Stay away.

When the appraiser came to my home at the height of the pandemic, he seemed really irritated when I asked him to put on his mask to come appraise the inside. My home then appraised for a curiously low amount, considering there are bidding wars happening left and right in my area and both bathrooms and the kitchen had been updated within the last two years. Appraised for almost $30,000 less than the average amounts on Redfin and Zillow.

Poor service when answering phone. Price is outrageous. When asking why so high. I was told to call someone else.
