Staff is very friendly. The cottages are cute and very clean. There's a full kitchen so you can cook and not have to eat tourist food. You can walk directly to the beach from your back door. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Love this place! Super laid-back environment and Mary at the front desk (possibly the owner?) is awesome. I stayed in cabin number 2 and it was super clean and had the perfect size kitchenette. The only thing to take note of is that in this one, the bathroom is off the bedroom, so if its more than just you and your SO staying, you might want to book one with a more private set up so your futon guests arent walking through your room in the middle of the night. Worked well for my situation, though! Theres a private path to the beach which is nice, but make sure to wear rain boots! There are a lot of areas on the trail where water collects. Really nice walk though and my dog LOVED it. Cannot wait to stay here again.

This was our second time staying at Anchorage Cottages, and I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed with our room. The bed was very uncomfortable and the "couch" (daybed) was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture that I've ever been on!
We almost cut our trip short because of how uncomfortable we were. It's disappointing because the staff is very nice. All the rest was good, unfortunately because of the furniture, we didn't get the rest we would have liked so that we could enjoy our vacation.
