Same Day Care at PeaceHealth Cordata Main Clinic

I was sent in to get a physical because my primary at PH left. (April 14th at 2:20 2024)I went in and Jessica at the front desk made me feel stupid that I was even there and told me they wont give me one and that someone lied to me. I found that to be not true after calling their other same day clinic on Squalicum. Jessica, at the front desk wasnt really even the problem. While Jessica was rude and lied to me, there was a younger woman with long dark hair, blue shirt and dark rimmed glasses sitting with the main woman that was checking everyone in. That woman was rolling her eyes at me and laughing at the audacity I had come In to try and use their clinic. I was already frustrated that I had driven clear into bellingham to use the clinic that I was told to use by PH when I called, then this womans behavior towards me just trying to be seen was unbelievable.I rolled my eyes back at her a couple times and also told Jessica that the woman was giving me dirty looks the whole time I was standing there and she did nothing. While I was walking away, I heard that woman with the dark hair laughing at me. Im assuming its funny to them that I was given the runaround and wasted my time. Felt like high school. Definitely not professional I cant believe these are the first faces you see coming into their same day clinic. I didnt even get to see an actual doctor or nurse. I literally called their sister Same Day clinic while I was in the parking lot and they told me to come in and that PH same day clinics will DEFINITELY give me a physical.

Staff is sincere, kind, and treats everyone with equity. Not judgmental. Very thorough.

The receptionist was good and got me in but I had to wait an hour which was something else ... But the nurse practitioner that saw me gave me a totally wrong diagnosis because I went in for an allergic reaction with how my fingers write looking . But i got diagnosed with nail fungus and was prescribed some harsh medicine that required blood testings and such because it could rarely affect my liver. So if I do go back I am requesting not to see Sarah again she was good but it felt like being treated like a kid when I am just 25....

After a 2.5+ hour wait, I ended up leaving before seeing a provider (for multiple reasons including wildly inaccurate wait times, giving up my spot in line, etc), but not before hearing the nursing and receptionist staff talking badly about me and not caring about my medical issue. I believe the exact quote was, Like, Im sorry that we dont care about your *** problem! I told her she can leave at any time. They said their names were Rebecca and Danny. I am appalled at the blatant disrespect, lack of compassion, and total lapse of communication at this clinic, on top of a childish staff who talk poorly about their patients right in front of everyone. I will never step foot in this place again, and I strongly urge anyone else I know not to either. Their staff is uneducated in conflict resolution and the ramifications of violating HIPAA.

Definitely need friendlier receptionists. Called to see if they could see my mom, who's in pain and has mobility issues. Previously, they've allowed her to check in via phone because of her situation. Current receptionist refuses same courtesy. Expects us to pack mom into car, up to clinic to check in and then is willing to try and remember to call us when her wait is 15 minutes out (we live 2 minutes from clinic). 1. We don't need someone who is likely to forget based on her attitude and leave mom in pain for another day. 2. Anyone who has someone with mobility issues knows it can be a hassle for the patient and tries to minimize inconvenience to them as much as possible. 3. We could go and check in and wait, but Mom hate the idea of being stared at or frightening others when the pain gets really bad and she can't help from letting out a scream. Mind you, before this receptionist started answering phones, they always understood and worked with us. Doctors and nurses were always kind. Sadly, because of one gal who shouldn't work in a medical office until she gains compassion for others, we won't be returning.
