The best part of Colonial Harbor is the seniors. Turnover of management and staff is extensive, and managers are not "management quality", allowing for a toxic work environment. Their "do nothing" approach to leadership results in an unorganized, chaotic, and often hostile workplace.
Fraternization is permitted by management, which results in favoritism.
Covid policies have not been followed as they "just wanted the community to reopen", resulting in many resident deaths.
Resident's concerns are not addressed, they are told, "we are working on it" and few issues are ever resolved. This is frustrating for the employees that truly care about the well-being of seniors. For some, this wasn't our job, it was our passion.
Glad to hear they caught the thief. Sorry to hear that it took a resident to bait them after a year of management in denial and accusing good employees of it, who quit. Management seriously needs work here.

Mystery solved,
The thief was an employee. A house keeper.
Management apparently decided to let her resign quietly.
No report filed. Will anything be done?

Apparently someone has been stealing credit cards, cash ect. from residents while they are not in their apts. yet there has been no announcement from staff.
( DEC 2020) Conditions continue to decline. We only get excuses
and empty promises. We were recently told that the food budget was cut
because there are fewer residents. We are getting very poor quality food. and our "cooks" dont know how to cook.There are very few activities, No visitors, and No socializing.
dont be fooled by their sales pitch.
They seem so kind and caring, especially when giving tours.
I hope they wont be asking residents to donate to the employee Christmas fund this year.
Nov.2019}......I am beginning to wonder if the food here is safe to eat. We had under cooked, bloody chicken again today, an awful beef dish over cold noodles that was too salty to eat, and over cooked roasted potatoes so hard you couldn't stick a fork in it. Most of the food served every day is just sickening.

My mother recently moved here. The other residents have been very friendly, introducing themselves and talking at length about how happy they are to live here. The food is good. They have activities, planned outings, and the staff is very nice. So far she really likes it here.

How to cook housekeeper need to do more 15 minutes to clean apt half the time she doesn't clean the shower the people live here pay alt of money don't move here
