        An experience I'll never forget! Every staff member treated us like we were important people. Such an elegant place to stay. I'll definitely stay here again. This was the best part of my visit to Williamsburg

        We did not stay at the hotel. We came to the restaurant for DINNER as a treat. We have been there many times and this sadly was so disappointing. I know Covid has depleated staff. This is no longer a 5 star establishment. We were there close to Christmas. There were no linens on the tables, the menu was bleak with about 6 items, two which were meatloaf and hamburgers. I don't come to the Inn for hamburgers. I got a salad, have meat added and paid, if I remember, $35. That is outrageous. I used to love coming to the Inn. The staff was friendly. I feel that if you want to charge for 5 star status, you need to upgrade yourself back to where you were. This makes me so sad. Williamsburg was our favorite place to visit and now we probably won't be back, at least for a long time.
