I can not speak highly enough of the therapists here. I've been with Dr. Goldberg & Associates over 2 years now and have had a great experience. I've recommended them time and time again, and will continue to do so.

Awful billing department that doesn't understand the difference between the insurer's obligation and the patient's obligation. Will not help any of your mental health issues -- will only make them worse and cause anxiety. Should be negative stars. Their billing office can't read a date on an insurance card for when coverage begins and they blame the customer for their failings. Should be 3 or more negative stars.

Brand new office and location with 8 treatment rooms, night and weekend hours and accepts most BCBS and same day or next day available scheduling. I also hear Cigna will soon be accepted. Great care!

Very helpful practice that got me in within a day, took my insurance (Carefirst) and the provider I saw was excellent. Can't thank them enough for helping me get through a difficult time after struggling with a loss.

Edit to respond to the owner - As previously stated, I understand the cancellation policy and that most places have something similar. I have never contested something like this before. I'm highly organized and if I need to cancel something, I do. I understand why these policies are in place. HOWEVER I DID NOT MAKE THE APPOINTMENT I WAS CHARGED FOR LATE CANCELING ON. I called numerous times about this matter to explain myself. I was disregarded. I was also put on the line with my "provider" who talked the entire time, never once listened, and downright lied. She was incredibly demeaning, condescending, and dishonest. The conversation left me in intense tears. This practice is just wrong. It's wrong to do this to someone. Completely taken advantage of and disregarded. I hope it's not a pattern, but the way people reacted make me think otherwise. Original review: One word - VIOLATED. This practice has been nothing but a detriment to my mental health. It has made me feel powerless, taken advantage of, and disturbed. Please go elsewhere. I feel very taken advantage of financially and talked down to when I was trying to explain the situation. I can't believe this practice is made to help people when it did anything but. I would never recommend this to anyone, because to me it was all a scam. When I canceled my future appointments (which was a clear conversation with my “provider”), they neglected to take my off the schedule and still charged me a $100 fee for an appointment I didn’t make. They did not believe me because the “provider” I saw failed to document that I cancelled all future appointments. That’s not my fault. Then, I had an awful conversation when I tried to explain the conversation where, yet again, I wasn’t able to talk. My “provider” did all the talking, as usual. It was incredibly condescending when she was either lying or not paying attention to our actual conversation. Either could be the case with her. I hope you go elsewhere. Idk if I’ve ever been treated so outwardly horrible, especially from a place that acts like they are trying to help. I have a feeling this happens all the time and it is how they scam people. Stay FAR away to avoid putting your mental health further at risk and save your money. Awful establishment and human beings.
