        I was traveling in Virginia and needed a family friendly budget hotel. When I first drove up to the Ecco lodge ..it reminded me of a haunted House attraction. The landscaping was so over grown with weeds and uncared for … including the park lot …I thought it was abandoned. The pool was uncovered half drained and green … they said the pool was closed due to Covid … but it looked like it hadnt been opened in years .. and why wouldn’t you cover it … instead you show your guests green Algae? I looked into the window of a room .. the window ledge was not clean had some dead insects on it …. Me and my husband and kids left. Corporate headquarters should either invest in the property or shut it down Stay away from this nightmare hotel
