So I went to this property yesterday to apply for a 3 bedroom because the website said it was $1531 a month but once I asked the girl at the front desk about the 3 bedroom she gonna say it's $1675 which disqualified me because of my section 8 voucher I feel she discriminated because of my voucher because why does the website says advertising one thing but in the leasing office it's a complete difference. I went on the website today just to check to see if they updated the price but no it still says the same thing. The reason why I'm taking this time out to do a review because I have emailed a few times asking about if Section 8 accepted but never no response...I hate the fact how people discriminates against people who receive federal assistance for any reason we are still humans people are so judgemental it's beyond sad.

The maintenance there is horrible and so is the management. A lot of people have moved and a lot of maintenance have quit because of management. The landlord tried to blame old plumbing on me when the plumbers stated to her that the pipes needed changing

I fell in love with my apartment when I first stepped in and it has not changed! Yes, there have been a few folks who want to flout common decency and be rather noisy, however, that is not the norm! Management has been fantastic! They have worked with me on a few items and I know that they do everything they can possibly do to make certain that this community is safe, clean, positive place to live and to enjoy. Of course, residents have to do their part to help keep an apartment community safe, clean and quiet and not depend upon management and/maintenance to do Everything! ** Addition- pet friendly, close to schools, employment, retirees!** - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Disgusting! I would not give A star if it were possible. Do not be fooled by well kept grounds! Speak with residents if you may be interested. Walk the grounds. Drive through at night, on weekends!! Dept.of health as well as codes and compliance should definitely have this place on their radar! I would not recommend moving to Heather Lake Apartments. They are very old and dated. Pull up the carpet check the floor! Do not sign a lease unless you have inspected the EXACT unit they want to assign you to. Moisture damage and MOLD are very noticeable and concerning because of health reasons as well as it attracts roaches. I mean REAL roaches! The big rodeo horse track type joints!!! With wings! Not just sometimes but daily! Very disgusting. Just moved in and let's just say... I am disappointed and had I known the TRUTH about this complex, which I believed was a good clean community, I would have moved somewhere else. The buildings are not cleaned or kept up daily weekly or monthly from what I've seen. All i can say is do not do it! You will regret your decision more sooner than later. Just a few words of advice. Please note, I am in good standing as far as rent payments and cause no trouble to get evicted. I write this so no one goes through this poor quality of life. They need a huge overhaul from the top down. Honestly I hope they do because it's a beautiful area. I'm out as soon as my lease is up if not sooner! The absolute worse complex i have ever lived in.

I love this place they office people are so nice as soon as I moved in I got a free pizza and whole bag of snacks it was easy to change my Cox over and everything they give you a lot of help to make sure the transition is smooth. I love the area and my patio it’s such a great change I see myself very happy here
