Monroe's

Several times there & each time food was ok, but the service was bad: 1st time there, stuck at a table almost in the kitchen & not much bigger than a phone booth; 2nd time there, the male server didn't seem to really care: brought food and just walked away; 3rd time, the female server had a serious attitude: was huffy about not seating us in the phone booth [altho plenty of other seating was available], & seemed like she really didn't want to be there [and for their business, shouldn't have been]. Will not go back or recommend it ....

The food was fantastic, please put the chicken livers on the regular menu! Side note- walls need cleaned in the booths, food splatters mar the romantic atmosphere. Regardless we will be back, this may become our "go to" for great Italian.

We got take out and the portions were really small, overpriced and the food was pretty terrible (stale bread, soggy pasta and a really small and flavorless salad).

I can not say enough about Monroe's it is one of my favorite places to have a meal. When friend or family don't join me, I enjoy having a meal there by-myself. The food is always GOOD! And the service is EXCELLENT!!. Go eat at Monroe's ...you will LOVE it!!

I have always gotten a good meal here. You should try the lobster ravioli whenever they have it on special. Other noteworthy dishes include the crab pasta and Tiramisu. The staff are courteous and the portions are generous.
