I can not say enough positive things about this practice and the people who work here. Ive been a patient of Dr Pingree at Wasatch Neuro for over 2 years and the care I receive from the front desk to Dr Pingree himself is courteous and very professional. Im very appreciative to these people as they handle my long term care

I highly recommend making an appointment here if you need surgical consultation! The office is very hospitable and the bedside manner is amazing.

Dr. Pingree has exhibited nothing short of making you feel like family from the first moment I met him. First time I was laying in an ER bed scared out of my mind because I'd just learned I had a tumor. His calm demeanor along with his caring and attentive bedside manner gave both my hubby and I peace. I wish all doctors were as nice as he is! Thank you for being that in this cRaZy and sometimes unsure world we live in right now. Dr. Pingree himself is amazing however, the lack of returning phone calls by the office staff repeatedly during the past year has been frustrating to say the least. This issue has been brought up many times since my surgery to various individuals in the office to no avail. Just today I had to have yet another heated discussion regarding not being responded to after 10 days post leaving a message. All you get is an apology for them failing to return your call but no changes even after a full year since I initially began experiencing this lack of proper customer service. Very frustrating when you're talking about patients who've been through brain surgery and want answers to their fears/questions. Don't expect to be attended to without YOU having to make numerous phone calls to the office.

I was with Wasatch Neurosurgery and Spine from 2016-2021, at that point and still suffering greatly, I was told that I need to find a new Neurologist!!!! This is what happened: my first fusion was in 2016, I continued afterwards to be in horrific pain! So Caleb eventually told me to go have an EMG (Nerve test study), which I did! Needless to say I continued to live with my terrible back pain! My friend suggested I go see her doctor Dr. Brent Bowen, so I did. Well, time went on and the pain was getting ready bad and couldnt go to work. So I decided to TRY DR. James Pingree again because hes supposed to be top in his field! Several weeks later when I came for my appointment, I was sitting in the exam room talking with Caleb and Dr.Pingree came in and was very upset that I didnt come back to him earlier!! Well, I was told by his office to go down to the Comprehensive Spine Clinic thats why I didnt go back! They made me feel VERY VERY VERY UNWELCOME and that was why I hesitated going back!!!! I then proceeded to have another Spinal Fusion due to FAILED BACK SURGERY! This time they went in through my abdomen and back to preform the surgery! WOW, THE RECOVERY WAS BRUTAL!!! After several months, the horrific pain was still here and I called his office again! I saw Caleb and he ordered another MRI, which I did! When I went back to the office Dr. Pingrees, I was told that I wasnt a good surgical candidate and that Dr. Pingree would not see me anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was devastated!!!!!! I was scared because Ive been living with this horrific pain most of my adult life and had trusted him with my back issues and I still needed his help but the doctor and his staff have shut me out and will not see me!!!! Now, since my first fusion 2016, the vertebrae above and below my fusion have gotten worse w/spinal stenosis, degenerative changes, an annular tear and bulging discs!! Just because Im not a good surgical candidate to them at that time doesnt matter!!! I should still have been treated the way I was back in 2016!!! Lastly- Dr. Pingree told me in 2016 that after a fusion the vertebrae above and below will start to deteriorate like the ones he fused. Well, according to my most recent MRI JULY 2021, thats exactly what has happened!! And now ( once again ) I am unable to hold down a job due to the pain Im in!!! It has affected my quality of life more than ANYONE KNOWS!!! I would not recommend Dr. Pingree or Wasatch Neurosurgery and Spine to anyone!! I followed every referral/request that his PA-Caleb had asked me to do and nothing has helped!! Kind of sad to say goodbye but Ill get over being scared and Ill find a much better doctor who cares!!! Good Luck to everyone! Anne Phillips
