I was referred to BIAU by a family member who was familiar with what they do and in which ways they could assist me. Because of them I was able to get testing, at no charge, in order to give us a better understanding of what would best benefit me. They were with me every step of the way and answered every question, addressing every concern, for the first year (until I moved). I was able to go to yoga that is geared toward brain injuries, meet people who also struggle with TBI, start the appropriate type of therapy, and, above all, felt supported and understood. I’m am insanely grateful for Brain Injury Alliance!
