Spy Hop

I'm currently attending the Songwritting class, and I am very pleased with how Cathy has mentored myself and my class through the music process! If I had the opportunity, I would have been going here the moment I met the age requirement. If your child has any level of interest in one of the many courses SpyHop has to offer, I highly recommend utilizing their services. Not only do I feel like this is a space of learning, but I feel a deep sense of community here that I appreciate now, and surely would have appreciated when I was younger as well. All the mentors and staff are wonderful, I feel very grateful to have been given the opportunity to come here!

My child has loved having Spy Hop come to their after school program. Every time Spy Hop is there, we get a message that he wants to stay later than usual to continue to work on his project. I love the inclusive and anti-bias culture; it is exactly what teens need! Thank you for providing quality instruction and support - and for free! I wish we had more programs like this throughout Salt Lake.

If you're interested in audio, music, design, or film, I really recommend SpyHop even if you don't want follow those interests as a career. There are beginner courses and advanced courses, so there's something for everybody. SpyHop has helped me kickstart my career and I'm sad I didn't find them earlier. I've done the Recording Technology apprenticeship twice with SpyHop and the form of the class allows for students to collaborate, innovate, and build an amazing community. I've met some incredible musicians through SpyHop!!!!
