What an experience! I've been an addict for north of 15 years and have tried other methods and programs in attempts to stop drinking, but nothing worked. Zion Recovery showed me what I needed to do to remain sober, and I've been running with it since. The staff isn't just staff, they're family. The equipment is state of the art and the facility is clean and modern. I enjoyed one on one therapy, group therapy and nature excursions, but my favorite of all was animal therapy. I'm grateful for Zion Recovery, for it saved my life and provided me with the guidance i needed to change my behavior and thinking patterns.

Zion Recovery changed my life! I was lost and deep in my addiction, living in a very dark psychosis. I needed help in the worst way. Zion Recovery helped me recover from my mental health issues (the underlying reason for my substance abuse addiction). Robert Beatty took me through the steps in a way that I had never seen before. Something clicked inside me, a light came on. Everything seemed lighter and I was no longer living in fear and anxiety. I finally got the courage to make amends to my family, friends and my X-wife. I really enjoyed doing the brain paint and theta. Also every week we went on adventure therapy and went on hikes up Zion, Snow Canyon, and many places in St. George. We would go climbing and repelling as well, which I have grown to love! I have been through 5 different treatment centers (inpatient and outpatient) and Zion Recovery is the only one that worked for me. I truly am a different person now and have a connection to a higher power, of my own understanding that I did not have before.

I found Zion Recovery by chance. I had just left my therapy appointment and ended up feeling worse than better. I had dealt with severe depression and PTSD my whole life and it was made much worse when I had Postpartum added to the mix. I tried absolutely everything to heal and recovery from my personal Hell I was living, including EMDR, therapy and ECT. I called in desperation, knowing this would be my last try, and immediately I felt a small piece of hope. It took me a week or two before I could actually enter the program, but once I did, there was an immediate impact on me. I loved how relaxed the atmosphere was, not feeling stress over schedules. There is no ridiculous homework assignments, so when I got home, I could spend time with my family. I loved how simple Cord made the steps. Every step was a conquest. Equine therapy has been humbling. Brain therapy, Theta therapy, and TMS have been surprisingly successful. I just can’t say enough. I love the staff and the other people I went through my experience with. I have lifelong friends, that have healed the same way I have, and that is priceless. I know this review is long, but I feel it’s completely necessary to help whoever reads this, know that you can receive true healing and recovery. I put all my heart and mind into this process and I got back all I put in to it. You can too.
