Romano's Macaroni Grill

My husband and I went here for the first time in years. The service was terrific and the hostess was able to seat us in a cozy spot in the back upon request. We got the Calamari appetizer and my husband had a pecan chicken salad and I had a chicken pasta dish. Everything was delicious! I would definitely go back. The only thing I didn't care for was the open kitchen area. I always think those are too loud, which is why I asked for table away from it.

Excellent restaurant. Granted, I went there for a very early dinner, so there weren't very many other customers. We didn't have to wait an excessive amount of time for our dinner, and our waitress didn't forget or mess anything up. Food was amazing (I got the Mama's Trio), and they even gave my wife free dessert because it was her birthday. It was a little expensive (that's entirely subjective), but well worth it.

Did not enjoy our service tonight, unfortunately. I won't name names, but our server did not seem attentive and messed up our order. Got our "salads" after our meals. No dressing whatsoever. Got asked if we wanted our check after only having our food for five minutes. Our server would just disappear. We had to ask for water. And both dessert orders were wrong. I'm not one to complain, but just too many things went wrong to say it was an enjoyable visit. My father enjoyed his lasagna though.

I went there to enjoy a nice romantic evening. The staff wants to rush you through. Appetizers, salad, and entree all came at tge same time, even before our drinks and bread. Staff was very unfriendly and acted annoyed that we were there.
