So nice it literally hurts my body! This place is the nicest hotel with the nicest people with the nicest pool with the nicest food!

My very best friend wanted to share her top notch experience in Deer Valley. We went to St Regis for a nice sunset and sabering. They were out of the first 2 bottles on Champagne we ordered so we settled on a third bottle ($180 on the menu). We finally had our first sip of Champagne 45 minutes later. We then ordered an appetizer of the Elk Meatballs. They were out of them. We then placed an alternate order. Three of us received our food ....the fourth person did not receive her food for 15 minutes after us. One of us ordered a glass of red wine to go with her food....the wine did arrive for at least 15 minutes after her food...by the time the wine arrived her food was cold. Now, the bill arrives....they charged us $230 for a $180 bottle of Champagne. When we brought this to their attention, their claim was that they have been having issues with their system converting and charges were getting mixed up... I am sorry, but I call BS on this. I believe many customers have come and gone from here overcharged for their purchase of wine... They're very proud of their wine in the first place and they overcharge to begin with and then they charge more than what the menu says it will be. Imagine if they make a $50 profit on every single customer that comes in there and doesn't take the time to look at their bill. We finally at this point decided the manager needed to know what was going on... We called him over and were terribly disappointed at how he handled the situation. I would have bet money he was a brand new manager... He claims he has been there for four years. His resolution was to have my friend email him the next day reiterating what issues were and he would then figure out a solution. In addition, after they charged our card for the incorrect amount of $178 each they wanted us to pay the new rate of $148 with out showing us proof of a voided $178. They claim there was no way their system would be able to show us a void. There's no doubt this is one of the most beautiful venues in Park city. The Sabering was great....The food was sub-optimal and the issues we encountered were horrendous. I truly hope this place finds a way to not continue down this path, rather the path you would expect of a high end St Regis experience.
