Evening Star Cottages

This is now called The wildflower Lodge, it is very clean has a great bed, good amenities with coffee refrigerator microwave big screen TV and cable. The other poor rating came 7 years ago

My girlfriend and I needed a cheap place to stay while in San Saba and decided to stay here. Since we would be out at Colorado Bend most of the weekend, all we really needed was a place to shower and sleep. It appeared like a quaint motel, dated but nothing to judge by its cover. However, the interior was something else, cockroach droppings on nightstand, dirt on carpeted floor in bedroom and bathroom, nasty microfridge interior, and a gap in the door seal which let in bugs seeking sources of light, ie tv or side lamp. They were understandable and refunded our moneys; they have that going for them.
