Dofflemyer Hotel

This is a top notch establishment, hands down, the best in town. The ladies doing the booking are professional and patient with last minute changes and bookings. The rooms are great and the people are even better. We have had crews in and out of town and they have always accomadated our needs. If you have business in the area or are staying in the area for fun, this IS the place to stay.

The Dofflemyer Hotel is the place to stay in San Saba. Cozy, private and secure this hotel offers a lot. It's near the town square at the intersection of restaurants and shopping. Great no-hassle self check in and out with free coffee area.

arrived at hotel didn,t receive a code to get in had to go next door the lady called for us finally received a code to get in did not receive a code to get into our room, we received 2 codes after more phone calls both did not work, we requested a refund did not get it we left never going back, never got into our room

Great location for a little vacation. Room #6 was perfect for our needs. Would stay again in the future.

The website is extremely confusing!! We planned to book at the Dofflemyer Hotel. Went to the Dofflemyer website and booked a room. Upon check in I received a text on how to access three different rooms! Finally called and they said we booked at a lodge down the street. Went to the room, it was clean but no windows, its like being in a closet, no access to ice or a mini fridge but there is a microwave in the hall. There is a coffee pot out in the hallway that you share with another room. The toilet doesnt flush well and big surprise, they wont return your calls and you cant find staff anywhere!! Buyer beware of the Dofflemyer and verify youre not stuck in a closet!! This could have all been avoided if their website had been completely open about the location of this room. This building is under construction, no sprinkler system in room. You book on the Dofflemyer website and get Burnhams lodge. Pictures are of the building and entrance to the room, which was not on the website. IF THERE WAS A FIRE IN THE HALL, there is NO alternative exit in room #8. Rooms: Was clean, large, quite, no windows.
