Let me just preface this by saying I work for a big time physician's group in San Antonio, let alone in Texas. I called Mystic Park from another physician's office in regards to a patient to ask for a providers contact information to send some important documents. Unfortunately we did not have this information on hand from the patient's family, and they asked if we gather the information from Mystic Park so they can forward it to the patient's PCP. Well, I called Mystic park and asked to be transferred to the nurse, because having worked in a rehab before, I knew the front office wouldn't have a clue to what I was needing. The phone rang for what seemed like forever and just cut off. I am very busy, so I called back and introduced myself to the receptionist (I believe) Cindy, and asked for this providers contact information. She was so confused, didn't even put me on hold, she was asking around if anyone had the information, and everyone there was acting like it was such a bother and she was claiming she did not even know why I was calling. I could hear all the conversations because she must have just put the phone down without putting me on hold. When she answered she very rudely told me to just fax the documents to them and they would forward it to the physician. When I asked for their fax number, she didn't even know their own contact information. She again had to ask around for the information. I then asked for her name and she rudely told me "Cindy" and hung up. I get it, we're all busy but customer service should be their top priority. It has and always will be my top priority in the workplace and I've worked in a rehab before, I already know they will probably not forward the information to the provider. Good thing for documentation as a nurse, I've done my part. Cindy had very bad customer service and the front desk staff, from what I could hear on the other end of the line did not want to be bothered which leads me to believe they truly have no compassion and must hate their jobs. I would hate to be family member of a patient staying there with a staff who does not have a clue!

My brother has been there over three years. We have gotten to know all the staff. It is his home. Of course no home is perfect but he is comfortable there. He gets the medical attention needed, and is safe. Thank You Mystic Park!

i wouldn’t recommend anyone bring their loved ones here , my grandfather was here years ago , and unfortunately lost his life here due to the carelessness of the employees.
