worst hospital. The nurses arent doing their job right .

My grandpa was hit by a staff member, a nurse, I know what he looks like too sooo I give heads up to anybody, my grandpa was overdosed, neglected, and they messed with his phone sent us text messages saying hahaha and stuff... my grandpa was supposed to have been there to recover, this made him go down, he died at Meridian, they took good care of him until he passed. This was in 2017. I don't recommend this place to anybody! I got in health care because of this! I hate this place. Yall are unprofessional, rude, and CRUEL. I see in the reviews people have similar incidents happen.

The nurses are nice but some of them take too long to answer call light right away.

Just Excellent care! From ALL departments! Friendly, compassionate, and attentive care.That I have ever received. I needed it after having such a severe case of Covid-19 twice and Bacterial pneum. Twice, along with it. I was in really bad shape. Lifecare was Amazing! The nurses made me feel as If I was their, number one priority keeping a very close eye for any changes and reporting to the docs, who in turn were always on the ball! The CNAs I had were so compassionate as well when caring for my person, as I was to weak to get up out of bed to take care of myself or even bathe. Never made me feel I was a burden as the previous hospital where I was actually intubated! The PT and OT visited me daily to help me get my strength and coordination back as much as they could while I was there. Lifecare is the place to take your l ones for the best care in San Antonio! I should know I have been a nurse for 23+ years.
