so i usually avoid places that do ear piercings in the mall but i was shopping for baby necklaces and someone recommended that Piercing Propaganda has a good selection, but while i was there the lady refused to let me look at the jewelry and kept trying to show my thru the glass case like even sticking it all the way to the top so it was up against the glass rather then letting me touch/look up close. It made it hard to match the gold necklace to the charms especially. I get she thought i was planning on grabbing them and running even tho Im like huge pregnant and weeks away from delivering not to mention had my other children and husband with me. But sadly that wasnt the worst part of my visit. While i was there two sets of parents brought their daughters to get their ears pierced. I watched them load the piercing gun with the earrings get one stuck in the first girl then once done making the child scream for about 5 minutes take the same gun and re load it with more earrings and use them on the next little girl. are you serious? I asked the lady after she rang me up for the necklaces why dont they sterilize their gun/marker or any other instruments before re using and she swore they did, even the girl behind her agreed with her, like i just didnt just stand there and watch them. They insisted they used Calviwhipes to Sterilize when in fact in the front of the whipes is a human figure and baby figure crossed out and clearly states DO NOT USE ON SKIN. THE ACTIVE INGREDENTS ARE CHLORIDE, ETHANOL, && ISOPROPANOL. In order to properly sterilize equipment you need to run it thru a up to date autoclave. Which they didnt even appear to own one. (This is a kiosk) piercing guns should be illegal and places like this need to follow the heath department standards as a piercing studio not a novelty shop. If i could give this place 0 stars i would.
