My A/C is only 3 years old and I wanted it checked because it was running a lot , more than normal. I called True Blue first and automatically they stated $125.00 min trip charge and pressured me into getting into one of their maintenance plans. I don't like pressure. I told the lady, "I am just down the street in Royse City", she stated "still $125.00 min trip charge". I decided to shop around. Called two others and one being SubCooling Air. Only $85.00 trip charge and I agreed. When Ruben got here, he inspected my A/C thermostat, upstairs machine and unit outside. Turns out the coolant was fine. It was the outside unit, the unit was the problem. It was so clogged, the machine was over working to keep the house cool. The unit has been making a very loud noise which verifies that motor was about to go out. He saved me from having to replace the outside unit! It needed to be cleaned bad. He changed out the motor to a new one and cleaned the unit. Waived the trip charge charge. Only charged for the motor and the unit cleaning! Highly recommend this guy and highly recommend shopping around before falling into the pressure of the bigger guys like True Blue. I almost fell for the pressure of monthly plans.
