K. Hovnanian Homes River's Edge - Traditions

I really liked the neighborhood and the sales consultant was very helpful. I purchased and my experience has been great. I like that they build the lots up which is what prompted me to purchase since all of Houston is flat. The fact that the lots are built up does help if you decide to get flood insurance. I'm looking forward to moving in to my new home!

i mean you are literally on the 'river's edge' .. even if houses are now being built up elevated you'll still be stuck in your neighborhood unable to get out or to get in ... tough.

Beautiful neighborhood but sales tactics are misleading and they don't tell you about the high flood insurance cost even though they give you a foundation certificate. It floods really bad over here.

The lot right next to ours: Unbelievable that KHovnanian cannot put a fence to separate properties... prior to construction, it is REQUIRED for the developers to install sediment control devices as part of their building permit. To whom should this be reported? No construction fence and no construction entrance. KHovnanian cant even manage these small requirements?? We intend to send this to the City for sure.
