Visited this establishment while attending a Birthday Brunch on Sunday 12/15/19. First time visit. The music was great and we were greeted when we arrived and seated at the Birthday Girl's table. It went downhill from there. We were served water in plastic cups and was told by the waitress they had a big party on Friday and hadn't washed all of the dishes. 😲 It was corrected by manager and we received glasses for all guests. We waited for other guests to arrive and received the one page menu. There were 20 guests but not enough menus provided. Mimosas were weak and had to have more champagne added. Service was substandard to say the least. Food was over one and a half hour to serve. Even then all food wasn't served. Several guests canceled their orders. It was now after 3pm. We arrived at 1pm. The owner gave us only excuses with no apologies. "It's a bistro not a restaurant and we don't usually serve 20 top tables." "It's the fault of the waitress and how the orders were submitted." Why make a reservation for 20 with a deposit if you know its not your norm to accommodate large parties? I didn't hear an apology one time or an offer to make any adjustments. It would've been a better experience if someone would've taken the time to hear the feedback of the guests. It's disappointing that the event was not an enjoyable experience. In the end she revisited everyone's order again to make some the of adjustments. At first it was so confusing because there was no communication regarding your intent. But thank you for the adjustments. On a good note the chicken and french toast was DELICIOUS 😊 For those that ordered this dish and received it I know truly enjoyed it. Final feedback - service training for staff, learn what your customers want and work to create a pleasant dining experience, give solutions not defensive explanations, strive to make it better because things will go wrong. I would recommend a small group 1-4 and have chicken and French toast with water. I won't return. It was unfortunately an experience I won't forget 😔
