OYO Hotel Houston Galleria West

The front desk staff was a little girl , her dad eventually came out to the front and took my deposit without giving me a receipt until I demanded he write one up. No blankets. Room is old , dusty and outdated, swimming pool is empty and dirty, homeless people sleep on the hallway, this place is like a scary movie hotel. the key to my door didn’t work sometimes, I checked out early and didn’t get refund , am glad my bank helped me out with that, front desk never answer the phone,I am shocked the department of health hasn’t noticed this creepy place. this place is a scam and Texas government need to shut this place down. Not sure why they still in business.

We evacuated from Louisiana due to Hurricane Ida. Called OYO at 3am on 8/29/2021 was told that there was a room available we had to check out at 11am and cost $250. I asked for a discount considering the time frame. Was given a new cost of $117 with tax.(that is original price) Paid for room,we we get there we are told, they have no rooms. Almost 3 days later the money has still not been refunded and NO ONE has yet to return my phone calls. I find it very wrong for ppl to be taking advantage of a situation that has put alot of ppl homeless. The best part is this certain location is not even open for business. But booked me a room like it was.. I don't recommend at all

My experience their was trash they was really dirty and stanky room. They sheet didn’t fit the bed there were to small. They rush u out the room and it won’t be time 11 am yet! I don’t recommend this hotel! Very expensive! With bad service!

Sunch a dirty place never go to this place never please the rooms are so unhealthy and i saw the Insects walking on the wall someone need to report this place to the city and they have to come to check on it plus they are too my many and rejected to stay in the room for 1 min even and freaked out and i left and they said no refund It’s so shaty place
